Instructions to Examination Candidates
Timings
- Examinations will be conducted only during the allocated times shown in the examination timetable.
- You should come to the examination center 15 minutes before the test. The examination hall will be open for admission 15 minutes before the time scheduled for the commencement of the examination.
Personal Belongings
- All your personal belongings (such as bags, mobiles, watches, ear/headphones, laptops, pen etc.) must be placed at the designated area outside the examination hall. Please do not bring any valuable belongings.
- If any unauthorised materials, (such as books, paper, documents, mobiles and electronic devices with communication and/or storage capabilities such as tablet PC, laptop, smart watch, portable audio/video/camera etc.) be brought into the examination hall you will be marked as “disqualified candidate” for violation of regulations.
- Photography and cameras are NOT allowed in the examination hall at all times.
- All materials and/or devices which are found to violate any examination regulations will be confiscated.
- The CEC will not be responsible for the loss of any belongings in or outside the examination hall.
Please note that you don’t need any of the following items for the exam:
- Paper
- Pen/pencil etc
There is calculator functionality available in the exam-taking interface to use during the Numerical Reasoning Tests. Alternatively, you can bring one with you if you find it preferable.
General information
- During the exam no explanation or demo will be given. Make sure you have checked all tests’ categories in your demo account before the exam.
- During the exam you cannot stop the timer for any reason.
- There is no negative score for wrong answers. Answer all questions!
- Time is very limited. Do as many questions as you can.
- Any conversation during the exam is forbidden.
- You are allowed to leave the room as soon as you are done with the test. Remember to be utterly silent and respectful to other candidates.
- Results will not be published.
Identification Policy
Candidates must provide proof of identity in the form of an ID bearing a recent photo. The following documents are acceptable as proof of identity, provided that they include a recent photograph of the bearer: national identity card or passport.
