Instructions to Examination Candidates
Timings
- Examinations will be conducted only during the allocated times shown in the examination timetable
- You should come to the examination center 20 minutes before the test. The examination hall will be open for admission 20 minutes before the time scheduled for the commencement of the examination.
Personal Belongings
- All your personal belongings (such as bags, mobiles, watches, ear/headphones, laptops, pen etc.) must be placed at the designated area outside the examination hall. Please do not bring any valuable belongings.
- If any unauthorised materials, (such as books, paper, documents, mobiles and electronic devices with communication and/or storage capabilities such as tablet PC, laptop, smart watch, portable audio/video/camera etc.) be brought into the examination hall you will be marked as “disqualified candidate” for violation of regulations.
- Photography and cameras are NOT allowed in the examination hall at all times.
- All materials and/or devices which are found to violate any examination regulations will be confiscated.
- The CEC will not be responsible for the loss of any belongings in or outside the examination hall.
Please note that you don’t need any of the following items for the exam:
- Paper
- Pen/pencil etc
- Calculator
Identification Policy
Candidates must provide proof of identity in the form of an ID bearing a recent photo. The following documents are acceptable as proof of identity, provided that they include a recent photograph of the bearer: national identity card or passport.
Cancel policy
From the date a candidate is declared eligible to take the CEC exam, he/she can take the exam only once. If you are no longer interested in participating in this competition/selection procedure or other circumstances prevent you from doing so, please cancel your test appointment. You may cancel your appointment up to 48 hours prior to the time of your original test appointment by sending an email at: info@cec.com.cy
Please note, cancelling your test appointment will bring to an end your participation in this competition/pre-selection procedure and you will not receive any reimbursement. This action is irreversible.

Fees
The examination has a fee of €10 per candidate. You may pay your fee through Braintree below (after successful payment, you should await a response in the next 48 hours confirming your booking).
